James Woods Golden Age Center is a supportive housing location in downtown Cleveland that offers a variety of services and programs. The caring staff at this facility works hard to provide excellent supportive services and to meet the nutritional needs of its residents. Nutrition
The James Woods Golden Age Center provides two nutrition programs to the seniors who reside in and around the center.
- A daily hot and nutritionally balanced Congregate (group) meal is provided to elders (age 60+) who qualify for participation in the program

A daily hot and nutritionally balanced Home Delivered Meal is provided to elders (age 60+) who reside at the Woods location.
Supportive Services
Anyone who attends our center has access to individual counseling in a variety of areas assisting him or her to remain and thrive in their neighborhood. Counseling is available by appointment. Some areas of counseling include:
- Resources for independent living
- Assisting in consumer knowledge
- Screening for public benefits, assistance in completing documents, enrollment in benefit programs
- Financial, housing, and family support issues
Recreation and Socialization
James Woods Golden Age Center does offer group adult development activities to promote interaction as well as a fun atmosphere. Weekly Bingo is a big favorite at this Center, in which the residents compete for fun and practical prizes.
Transportation
James Woods Center offers transportation to and from the center for group leisure trips. Please contact us to learn more information regarding our transportation services.
